They say patience is a virtue, and while most of us can take that mentality to heart, only a brand like LOUIS XIII Cognac has the commitment to wait 100 years to make sure things are done right. As one of the most high-quality cognacs in the world, LOUIS XIII is paying tribute to its own time-honored sensibilities with a new film starring John Malkovich.
According to Wealth-X’s “World Ultra Wealth Report 2015-2016,” the population of individuals with a net worth of at least $30 million grew only 0.6 percent into 2015 to 212,615. This flat growth is set to change, with UHNW total assets to increase at a CAGR of 9 percent through 2020, reaching $46.2 trillion.
Luxury houses may produce extraordinarily expensive clothing, but the vast majority of their income comes from accessories. Louis Vuitton’s bags, scarves, belts, fragrances, sunglasses and the like aren’t cheap (by most peoples’ standards, anyway), but they’re cost-effective status symbols that allow less affluent customers to buy into a bit of the house’s heritage without having to drop thousands on clothing.
Though it may look rather conventional from afar, the 230-foot Feadship superyacht Joy is full of surprises at closer inspection. Bannenberg & Rowell, the London-based studio tasked with designing the exterior, created an abundance of beautifully designed decks and al fresco areas that maximize exterior space. Built for a first-time yacht owner, the vessel has dramatically lowered bulwarks partially lined with glass to create a true open-concept cruiser.
British automaker Bentley Motors is making headway within luxury automotive lifestyles through an on-demand gas delivery service.
While other luxury vehicle manufacturers are focusing on being the leader in technology, competing for autonomous capability, Bentley is focusing on making everyday tasks for the consumer more upscale.
I want to talk about partnerships. Partnerships are very important in the luxury industry. Partnerships help build brands, organically grow companies, and build relationships for creative process. One of the things that I like about partnerships is the people who understand how to use them and how to get the true benefits of those partnerships. Companies like Ralph Lauren who’ve done partnerships for years with the US Open, the Olympics, and continues to do Wimbledon each year. Those partnerships bring awareness, obviously revenue, but help to give the brand credibility in what they do and the quality of the product.
Recently, I’ve come to realize that I’m upset for the sole reason I like the trump hotels. They are a great brand with employees who have been working there for years bringing forth high quality exceptional service. What upsets me most is that I feel bad for those who work there and are doing a great job at keeping the brand and the product at the level it’s supposed to be, yet still dealing with their boss. A man who has said derogatory things about different types of people, races, and especially women. It’s unfortunate that they have to deal with this while servicing the people who do go to his hotels and have stayed in his luxury resorts and condominiums. No matter what happens at the end, people will continue to use his brand because of not just him, but for the people he’s hired and who have helped build the brand. I will always be a big fan of the property, it’s unfortunate I just can’t be a big fan of him.
On another note besides building brands, I want to address some of the gate keepers to major companies and also to some of the biggest billionaires in the world. I understand that some people take their job very seriously, and put all their energy into it, but I also believe in order to be successful you have to think outside of the box. When you start thinking that clients worth 6 billion dollars doesn’t’ do anything, then you’re not doing your job correctly. The gate keepers are there to try to make those wealthy individuals lives easier and more informative by choosing the right people to get that information for them. Even the people who work for major companies, who are the gatekeeper for those companies, do things. If a client has money, they do things. they may not tell you what they want to do, but they do do things. Otherwise there wouldn’t be companies like M Level.
To the people who are out there truly believe your client doesn’t do anything, nor experience anything, nor shopping, nor buying items, maybe it’s time you wake the hell up because you have no idea. Because M Level is a gate keeper we’ve dealt with many examples of these things taking place For example, we’re gate keepers to a billion dollar hedge fund guy who called in the middle of the night, to do a meet and greet with Justin Bieber because he’s a big fan.
One of the things about M Level, is that we never take anything as too black and white. We always try to go the extra layer because we never know what we might find or who we might meet. All the knowledge that we gain is given to our clients, which is why we are the gate keeper to some of the biggest people in the world. We actually get it.

The Swiss watch industry has seen a decrease in value and volume of exports over the last 14 months, with exports totaling 9.5 billion for the first half of 2016 down from 10.2 billion in 2015.
